What gets lost about the Me Too Movement is the power those two words have for people who’ve experienced sexual violence. According to Forbes, in the spring of 2018, Nike fired half a dozen male senior executives for “conduct inconsistent with Nike’s core values and against our code of conduct.” Other brands are beginning to take notice as well. Why? Sexual harassment and sexual assault cases are no longer hidden or taboo. It helps with reporting. And it can destroy a brand — so companies change. That's the #MeToo Impact on Businesses. It also has to do with the purchasing power of women, which ranges from $5 trillion to $15 trillion annually. Women control more than 60% of all personal wealth.
