The Batman released in theaters on March 4, 2022 and hit HBO Max on April 19, 2022. The newest addition the the DC world of films was made for around $185–200 million and tallied a box office of $759 million as of recording this episode. Matt Reeves was tabbed to direct with Reeves and Peter Craig writing the script.
