If we have the gift of sight, we should see the people and the world around us as God sees them and care for them accordingly. But do we? What do we ask of God? Or, more importantly, when Jesus asks us: “What do you want me to do for you?” what will our answer be? Are we willing to discard our old way of life in order to follow him and be worthy of the blessings – and the responsibilities – of the new life God wants to give us?
