After 40 years in the wilderness, a second generation of Israelites were standing on the border of the promised land, ready to enter. The threat posed by the Canaanite military had not changed, but the Israelite’s faith had. Today’s lesson will look at their faith, and God’s grace not only to the Israelites, but also to a Canaanite prostitute, her family, and the inhabitants of a Canaanite city called Gibeon.
