The God of the Old Testament is often seen as a warmonger. He sends His armies to fight and to kill, yet the New Testament refers to Him as the God of Peace. Today’s lesson will investigate Joshua’s war plan to defeat Jericho. It will also examine the very first war, helping us understand God’s attitude towards war.
