I explain why athletes need more protein than sedentary people and I look into some of the latest research about protein requirements for strength athletes and endurance athletes.
I also mention sources of protein and suggest good post-exercise snacks, the optimal timing for protein intake, and I give a brief overview of obtaining protein from food versus supplements.
