There's something about magic, it's appealing and we are constantly astounded by it. Though many of us will never understand how it really happens, it draws us. This story is about 4 magicians that find themselves caught in something much larger than themselves.
Original Review:
There is something mystical and magical about magicians. We are captivated by that which we do not understand. Yet it comes down to a simple truth; The closer you look... The less you see. Now that might not make sense at first but give it a chance... and let it reveal itself to you. This here is the story of four (4) individual magicians/illusionists, and how they are brought together by someone even more mysterious than them. Together they become The Four (4) Horsemen. While alone, they were just average but together, they're incredible. Creating and managing illusions that will mystify and astound you. Along this wild ride, we'll watch as they achieve the impossible time and time again. In doing so they gain the attention of national and international authorities. As the story progresses, it becomes the ultimate game of cat and mouse. Just when you think you've got parts of this figured out, there is a twist that will keep you guessing. Stay with this through to the end though, the ultimate twist won't reveal itself until the very end. Even then you'll be left wondering... What next? The base story feels very much like Houdini meets Robin Hood. That being said, there is more to this than tricks and illusions. Stick with this to the end (and stay into the credits for some insight into what's yet to come)... Abracadabra.... Now what? Wait and see...
