Pastor Dooba resumes our verse by verse series through the Gospel of John with John 19:17-27, during the
last hours of Jesus' life before the cross. Our interludes in Jonah and Ruth were strategic: Jesus is about to give the people of His day the "sign of Jonah" (Matthew 12:39-40, Luke 11:29-30) and fulfill the duties of a redeemer, not only for Israel, but for the whole world.
