Sha’ar HaBitachon - Episode Seventy-Five
,
~ !
The fourth chapter's opening lines focus on the endeavour that comprise our ephemeral lives. The differing dimensions will command varying degrees of Bitachon application, yet the common denominator is assumed to be a shared singular objective .
Yet, surprisingly, in categorizing the activities of our temporal 'Here and Now' lives we seem to deemphasize the 'big picture' long-term goal of spiritual fulfilment, separating religious pursuit from pedestrian engagement.
This ostensible distinction leads us into a deeper discovery of life's meaning. Ultimately, the idea of living purposefully, and being mission-driven applies to all dimensions; both those with immediate results as well as those with 'Future' realities still to come.
Appropriately applied, Bitachon can lead us to successfully bridge Heaven and Earth, as our Trusting reliance on Hashem goes far beyond Matters pertaining to Prosperity.
Here, we will learn to understand and appreciate why only by relying on G-d in all Matters -- of both Mundane and Mitzvah orientation -- can we successfully achieve inner joy, fulfilment, and lasting satisfaction.
