The Browns had another game go down to the wire and yet again they came out on top! Is it safe to say that the 2020's version of the Kardiac Kids are officially here? In the past 20+ years these games seemed to have gone the way of our opponent almost every time. But this team feels different. The defense is absolutely electric. The special teams are playing at an elite level. If only we could find ourselves a damn QB!
That's right our $230M QB played all of about 7 plays before he and everyone else realized that he was not yet ready to play, PJ Walker came in and did what he could, but in the end, despite the win, the Browns are left wondering what could be if only we had consistent play out of the most important position on the football field. On the flip side of the ball Gardner Minshew played surprisingly well against the NFL's best defense. Luckily that defense was able to do in this game what they haven't all season long and force 4 turnovers out of the Colts. Oh and Myles Garret and Dustin Hopkins played out of their minds, won AFC player of the week for defense and special teams respectively, and in the end they saved the day I guess. We even had to give Stefanski props in this episode due to the fact that this team is sitting at 4-2 despite all the drama and continue to look like a solid team. And speaking of that drama let's check where the Browns are at right now: the best RB in the world is out for the year, our OL is in shambles, our stud TE had an accident with fire in his backyard and narrowly escaped life altering injuries, our starting QB is hurt, we seem to have ruined our rookie QB, XFL is our current QB1, people are calling for us to trade for a different starting QB1, a former QB1 is trashing the franchise QB - so basically what we're saying is the Browns are back baby!
Next up the Cleveland Browns get a tough Seattle Seahawks team in a hostile environment. Deshaun and Jerome Ford have already been ruled out and PJ Walker and Kareem Hunt have been named the starters. Will they be able to rally together as a team again and win against all odds? Will PJ Walker finally throw a TD pass? Will Kareem look like the Kareem of old? Will the defense continue their dominance? Will the 12th man in Seattle mean anything at all - I mean seriously... how do the Seahawks have so many fans when there isn't even tailgating for their home games?
