It's time!!!! Time for the 50th episode of Burning River Sportscast!
The Browns are on a 2 game losing skid since beating division rivals Baltimore and Pittsburgh in back to back weeks. The defense has come back to earth and looked rather pedestrian these last couple weeks. They got embarassed by the Rams on a day when Joe Flacco got off the couch and suited up once again and gave the Browns surprisingly efficient quarterback play throughout. Next up they get a chance to right the ship at home against a tough Jaguars team (albeit without their star QB). Will they be able to bounce back or will they extend their losing streak and be backed into a corner in this fight for a playoff spot? At the moment the Browns sit in the 7 spot in the AFC playoff picture. However, with a few more losses they may find themselves on the outside looking in.
While it is true that the Browns have hit a rough spot in the season - do we care? Are we worried? Absolutely not!
