The Barber, David Nolen, joined Coach Kris Herron as they pushed toward the weekend. With the calendar turning to May 1, the guys talked May Day and the origin of “Mayday” as a distress call from the French term m’aider. Coach Herron wondered if Dave had ever made it to the top of the courthouse rotunda inside the dome. They also discussed a snake show that didn’t quite go as planned.
