Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) has unveiled significant improvements to its ICE Connect platform, according to Chris Edmonds, president of fixed income & data services. In a recent interview with John Lothian News at FIA EXPO 2024, Edmonds highlighted the platform's evolution and competitive edge. Over the past five years, ICE has been awarded four patents related to desktop usability, focusing on enhancing user experience. The company has integrated 45 new unique data sets into the platform, each in individual containers, allowing users to customize their engagement with the data. A key development is ICE's partnership with IPC, which has led to the integration of Ice sports data. Edmonds emphasized that these ongoing improvements aim to enhance user experience, which remains ICE's primary goal. The platform combines public and private data sources with customizable analytics tools.
