Description

In this episode, Stephen and Jennie Jones finish their third 3-part series with us as they talk about their transition from life and ministry in the United States to their new position with Envision Berlin in Berlin, Germany.

The theme of this new series is “What is Culture?” In today’s episode, we talk about the disorientation that comes with transitioning cultures the importance of having anchors, and whether or not a person can avoid cultural disorientation and culture shock.

We are once again viewing the transition the Jones family is experiencing through the lens of Stephen’s book, Transitions Across Cultures and his Cross Cultural Transition Handbook.

Since we recorded this episode, Stephen and Jennie have arrived in Berlin with their family and are settling into their new apartment.
