Description

In part 1 and part 2 of this 3 part series we have discussed how culture shock is the accumulated disorientation from culturally stressful events and explored the difference between culture shock and culture stress.

This week, we use some of the questions from Stephen Jone’s Cross Cultural Transition Handbook to help the Jone’s process the culture shock they are experiencing after moving to Berlin in July. This process of reflection - both self-reflection and taking time to dialogue with others is an important part of healthy cross-cultural adjustment.

If you are currently in a situation where you are experiencing some of the symptoms of a cross-cultural transition and do not have someone to process with, please reach out to us through email or by joining our discord server.
