Today marks the 2-year anniversary of my divorce.  

While some days and weeks seemed to pass excruciatingly slowly, the last two years also seem to have passed in the blink of an eye. 

I truly feel like a radically different person than I was 3 years ago. 

But so often we grossly underestimate how much mental and emotional work goes into changing a belief at the core. 

Which means there will be seasons of life (months or even years) that will be focused more on healing and personal growth, instead of weight loss. 

The key is to not be upset or frustrated with yourself if you’re in a season of healing and personal growth, and the scale may not be moving as quickly as you’d like.
