City Councilman and Mayoral candidate Scott Sherman joined the Mark Larson show on Thursday. The pair discussed issues facing San Diego. Unsurprisingly, homelessness was the issue that took up the most time in the discussion. Sherman spoke of the need of compassion for those who live on the street, but noted that compassion cannot come at with the cost of lawlessness. The mayoral candidate noted that while homelessness is not a crime, the homeless must faces consequences for breaking laws.
