Deadline reports that Ouija: Origin of Evil and Gerald’s Game director Mike Flanagan has been set to direct Doctor Sleep, the adaptation of the 2013 King novel that is a sequel to one of King’s most famous novel’s The Shining. In Doctor Sleep, Danny Torrance is now in his 40s and battling the same demons of alcoholism that plagued his father. But when Danny embraces his sobriety, his shining returns and he finds a psychic connection with a young girl who shares his abilities.

THR’s sources say it’s official. Steven Spielberg will reportedly tackle Indiana Jones 5 as his next project while he starts casting his West Side Story adaptation. The fifth film to see Indiana Jones on screen is set to be released by Lucasfilm and Disney on July 10, 2020. Spielberg is also reportedly taking his time casting West Side Story in order to find the pitch-perfect actors for the musical movie, which has not yet been dated for release.
