Description

Man Tears: The Musical - Andrew stars in this much anticipated sequel to Cinderella Man: Eternal Tears. Creed pulls on heart strings that Andrew had no idea he had. Many tears are had. Much hyperbole is delivered. In this episode of the AB Film Review, Andrew and Bernadette are no longer beholden to ruminents - those damn sheep. Instead, they also discuss the adventures of Bunzo, Train Rabbit and diligent treasure hunter, Kumiko in Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter. They get a little bit serious with the latest Kirby Dick documentary The Hunting Ground. Finally, Andrew accidentally gets racist with Dope (he doesn't mean it!) a film that challenges as much as it rewards. That's all I have to say about things this week. Deal with it. I forgot to mention, we get quite meta in this episode as we discuss exactly what a review is. Why we review. Who reviews. What is the action of reviewing. Should we have possibly chosen a better title than something something film review? Does the notion that we're a review show turn people off the show? Should we just end it all now and return our library books and say, enough is enough, we're sick and tired, we're not going to take this anymore? I give it one thumb up, one thumb down. And the third thumb is there for added effect. The song at the end of this episode is The Herd covering Sam Cooke's A Change is Gonna Come.
