In our pre-Oscar episode, we review some award hopeful films. Starting off with possible-Best Picture favourite Spotlight which has picked up major nominations as Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, Best Screenplay and Best Editing. Best Picture nominee Room also has hopeful wins for Best Actress, Director, Adapted Screenplay. Steve Jobs showcases Michael Fassbender as the tech-genius and Kate Winslet as his assistant - both taking home acting nominations. Finally, with no nominations at all is Ryan Reynolds pet-superhero project and blockbuster smash, Deadpool.
