A couple weeks off from the Ed series, but we it's back.
This week we start to delve into the fun stuff a little more with intro to Periodization. Periodization, while tough to type repeatedly, is a fairly straight forward concept. We set up some vocabulary and some basic concepts so that we can come back in the next few Fridays and really get into how and why to design your cycle plan.
This is one of the biggest concepts in programming training for powerlifting and for athletes. We will look at why some sports like strongman and Crossfit could stand to incorporate more of this.
