Description

James Comey's testimony on Thursday highlighted that Trump never requested the investigation be stopped, and that "hoping" for a positive outcome is not obstruction of justice. Comey stated he wished he was stronger so that he could have objected to a meeting alone with President Trump, and decided not to object to either the meeting, nor former AG Loretta Lynch's request to re-phrase the word "investigation" with the word "matter" when announcing the Hillary Clinton investigation, thereby taking a side in the election, and obstructing justice regarding the investigation on Hillary.
