The general feeling about SummerSlam seemed to be one of confusion in this episode of the podcast. While Kris, Colin and Peter all had some ideas about how things will pan out, they’re pretty much stumped by both of the main events. That’s either a good thing, as it means WWE aren’t following their usual formula, or a terrible thing, as it means everything will be a huge mess. I guess the only way to find out will be to watch the show.
The guys also took time to quickly preview NXT Takeover on the podcast, mostly focusing on the practicalities of Liger’s mask. It was a weird segment.
