約書亞將福與禍放在以色列領袖的面前, 他們要作一個選擇, 他們要蒙福呢或是要蒙災難呢? 這是他們要作出的選擇。約書亞記 23章裡耶和華你們的神出現 13次, 約書亞一次又一次提醒以色列人, 耶和華是你們的神, 祂愛你們, 但真正的愛是有管教的, 所以祂會賜福也會降禍, 但原因都是因為愛。主耶穌是我們的主, 我們的神, 我們也要作出選擇, 你要主賜福給你, 或是降災難給你, 這是你可以作出的選擇。
Joshua repeatedly reminded the Israelites that Jehovah is God and that God's love leads to both blessings and discipline. This week, Rev. Jeremiah Cheung reminds us to choose wisely by obeying the Lord, for our choices will spell the difference between blessings and disasters.
