THATCHAM CALLS ON A HALT TO AUTOMATED DRIVING PUSH
Thatcham Research is calling on the Government to pause the introduction of ‘hands-free’ driving from Spring 2021, as the technology is not there to do so safely. LOW TRAFFIC NEIGHBOURHOODS POPULARITY RISES
There is, apparently, increasing popularity in ‘Low Traffic Neighbourhoods’ (LTNs) where residential streets are closed off to through traffic. The article, from the Guardian, that is linked here, goes into detail about how LTNs can benefit urban areas and what they should be targeting, the one-off local urban journeys. We can hope that the next wave is better implemented than the knee-jerk versions that the pandemic allowed to occur.

FORMULA E: NOW HAS ELITE SPORT QUARANTINE EXEMPTION
Motorsport UK has announced that Formula E is an elite sport, therefore those involved can take advantage of quarantine exemptions. This gives the five British based teams the opportunity to apply for an exception to the rules. Other teams will have to discuss matters with their national organisations.
