FOLLOW UP: SOME CHARGES DROPPED AGAINST WINTERKORN
A Lower Saxony court has dropped the charges of market manipulation, against former Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn, preferring to focus on the accusation that he knowingly sold vehicles fitted with defeat devices. In, what feels like, a reflection of the nation’s mood, grey has again been applied to more new cars than any other registered in the UK, in 2020.
