FOLLOW UP: JLR LOSE C-TYPE COPYRIGHT

Jaguar Land Rover has lost a copyright infringement case in Sweden where they were taking several defendants to court. In a move that it appears JLR lawyers were not expecting, the defendants claimed that because Jaguar had not done anything to prevent replicas before they had implicitly approved. QUEENSLAND PASSES ‘ANTI-HOON’ LAWS

ARNOLD CLARK CREATING EV CHARGING NETWORK

Arnold Clark, the car retail company, has announced they are investing £23 million into a rapid charging network via their dealership sites across the country. Access will be allowed out of hours too, for approved vehicles. They are still working out the details for pricing but have made it clear they do not wish to nickel and dime users. JUST EAT SALES FLEET TO GO EV ONLY BY 2025

NNCN - ORA SALOON

Ora has announced their larger saloon, known as the Good Cat in China, will be coming to the UK. This is aimed squarely at the Tesla Model 3 and Hyundai Ioniq 6, coming with a range of power outputs as well as both two and four wheel drive. Whilst most details are scant, Ora has confirmed it will have a range of 300 miles. Prices have not been announced but they consider this a flagship vehicle....
