At the end of June, Mags and I got ourselves invited to a special screening of Anthropoid at the Bohemian National Hall at the Czech Centre in Manhattan. I would first like to thank them for having us, everyone there was warm and friendly. They had a nice event planned. We had a speaker from Czech Tourism about film tourism and after the movie a speaker who was 6 at the time of the events who gave us a different perspective - the perspective of someone who lived through it and the impact it had on the world.
Mags and I recorded the show at the after party of the movie, so our brains only had a few minutes to process the movie. Our feelings were fresh and unfiltered about the movie. If you would like to read the review I wrote a few days later, please check it out on Latersbaby.net
