If you want to engage people online and build trust with others in your marketing you have to be willing to reciprocate.
The internet is becoming reduced to content marketing, email sign ups, and who can use the most growth hacking tactics in order to build an audience they can monetize so that they can continue to tell others why they're the guru of monetization. This is the short term and in the future this will not work.
