On this episode of Good Movies For Bad People, CBH and Uncouth serve up two offerings of Satanic horror in the form of DEMONOID: MESSENGER OF DEATH (1981) and PRINCE OF DARKNESS (1987). These two films couldn't be more different in their tone and approach to their ultimate manifestation of evil, but they are both a damn good time in their own right.
Originally we had planned on reviewing PRINCE OF DARKNESS (1987), along with the recent Arrow Video Blu-ray release of BLOOD RAGE (1987). Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties during the recording we lost the audio for the Blood Rage review, so DEMONOID is reviewed solo by CBH and Uncouth joins in during the PRINCE OF DARKNESS review. The BLOOD RAGE review will be coming in a week or so as an extrasode, so look ahead for that.
