It's Hammer time!

On this episode, we're covering two films starring the late, great Peter Cushing from the legendary Hammer Studios: Frankenstein Created Woman (1967) and The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires (1974). Frankenstein Created Woman is the fourth film in Hammer's Franken-franchise, and for some reason we chose to review it instead of some much better Frankenstein movies like Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed or The Curse of Frankenstein. Our takeaway from the film: they can't all be winners, even when they're starring Peter Cushing. Oh well.

You know what is a winner though? Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires! This fantastic film was a co-production between Hammer Studios and the equally awesome Shaw Brothers studios, and the result is a movie that mixes kung-fu kickassery with Gothic horror and some borderline Mario Bava-esque style. It rules.
