It was on that occasion, after Ramananda Raya and others were asking questions to Rupa Goswami that they unanimously, the whole group of devotees in the presence of the lord, they proclaimed him to be the leader of our entire parampara as the representative of Lord Gauranga and from that time, all the followers of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who are genuinely, sincere in pleasing the Lord are known as Rupanugas, the followers of Rupa Goswami, that great meeting took place at Sidha Bakula, that is the place where Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu tested Sanatana Goswami, embraced him and cured him of his disease and in doing so, expressed the nature of the love between the lord and his devotees.
