So, after Sri Nityananda Prabhu visited Kardaha, He came here to Saptagram. When He arrived, Uddharan Dutt Thakur invited Him here to his home and surrendered his body, mind and words at the lotus feet of Shri Nityanand Prabhu. Uddharan Dutta Thakur was one of the dear most associates of Lord Nityanand Prabhu. In fact, in Krishna lila, he is Subahu, one of the 12 prominent cowherd boys who are the associates of Krishna and Balaram. Due to Uddharan Thakur’s preaching and his compassionate nature, the entire mercantile community of Saptagram who were considered to be outcaste, they all became purified devotees of the Lord. On the basis of his compassion to these people, Lord Nityanand Prabhu extensively gave His mercy in Saptagram. Please listen very carefully. Lord Nityanand Prabhu went to every single house to perform Harinaam sankirtan. He went to the market places, to the roads and crossroads, extensively along with His associates. He was broadcasting the glories of the chanting of Lord Krishna’s holy names.
