Description

Yamuna told this beautiful instruction that Prabhupada gave, if you do not teach other people to know what you did, what you have learned, then you will become proud. And I heard Yamuna Devi repeat these things so many times over the years because she understood this is so important and she lived by it absolutely and it is crucial to our spiritual lives. Because the false ego, we want to be unique. We want to be able to say something, to do something that nobody else can do that’s kind of puts us on a special pedestal. And we become proud. But whatever we know, if we just understand it’s been given to me, it’s not mine and my duty, my obligation is what I received, I must give to others so that they could do it too. And that really does care our pride because then they can do it just as good as us. And hope fully as far as pride goes even better, this is leadership. Not to keep people down but to push people up. Nothing is mine, it’s been given to me by Prabhupada’s grace, by Krishna’s grace, this is the way Yamuna Devi is teaching us share it, and teach it extensively, every detail of it so that everyone could do it. And then we could actually feel like humble servants and really please Krishna.
