So, through his culture he decided, he wanted to make a television series of Srila Prabhupada's life called Abhaya Charan. And when devotees heard this, it sounded so impossible. It sounded so extraordinary, you know it's one thing to think it to make an entire series that's going to be broadcast on Indian national television every week. Bhakti Charu Maharaj did it. These Abhaya Charan Series, I'm not sure how many episodes but it went on for a long time and I know some of the most prominent people of India, who never really understood what our movement was, even though they may have been life members and everything like that but when they saw the Abhaya Charan series, they were glued to it and they had their first real understanding of who is this AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Some of them because I was preaching in India and I was meeting so many people and prominent people who were favourable, who were friends but their appreciation for Srila Prabhupada was magnified hundreds and hundreds of times and their eagerness to serve our mission, what to speak of the common people? Yes, Bhakti Churu Swami Maharaj’s Abhaya Charan was on Doordarshan, major television network in India for I believe several years and people were glued, looking forward all week to hear to see what would Srila Prabhupada do next.
