So, therefore whether a child is born or whether a person dies, what is it? For the soul there is no birth and death, there is no such thing as birth and death for the soul. We celebrate a child’s birth, we weep when a person dies but actually what’s taking place through this phenomenon is only one thing, Krishna is revealing to us the temporary futility of the bodily conception of life. He is revealing to us that now you have this human form of life, you have good intelligence, you have the power to discriminate, you only have a short time to live, you see all around you, people are being born just like you are born, you see so many people around you are dying, you see that human life has a beginning and an end as all life has a beginning and an end in this material world, so what are you going to do?
