But by the arrangement of the Lord, Bhaktivinod appeared in his youth to always be striving and searching for higher truths. He was educated in British schools and he became a great scholar and in his search for higher truths of life, spiritual realization, he deeply studied the Christian scriptures and developed great love for Lord Jesus and then he studied very deeply the Quran and had wonderful realizations of that particular approach to the supreme Godhead and he was reading so many of the great philosophers, both eastern and western, he was studying the Vedantic teachings of Sankar and other great scholars, acharyas of India and abroad. And he had a very very broad broad spectrum ok knowledge but his thirst for truth continued to lead him on into deeper and higher studies.
