If Krishna wanted to be sympathetic to our material conceptions, when he would come to this earth, he would just do ordinary things and he would just speak, he would be like a good philosopher. See, I am nothing special, I am just an ordinary person and I am just speaking nice philosophy.’ He speaks best philosophy, but then the does things which are wondrous, not like the mystic yogis today that can produce some gold or who can make a dead man rise. What is so big about that, but lift the earth on your nose, do something like that- that is Krishna. When Krishna appears, he appears ordinary just to attract our natural love but then he shows that how although this ordinary little child he is extraordinary. Little baby but the whole creation within his mouth – this is Krishna. So he specifically performs the most incredible, unbelievable activities just to crash through the wall of our doubts of our material conceptions and by submissively hearing with an understanding that Krishna is great, that I am small, my conceptions of reality are under an illusion, when we hear in this mood regularly and we adhere to the instructions of Krishna consciousness, even if we may not have realization, if we simply submissively surrender to the word of God which is coming through the sadhu and the shastras and the guru, through that process, Krishna removes this great barrier or wall of doubt within our heart.
