One day, Lord Gauranga, Jagadananda Pandit and Gadadhar Pandit were walking along the river banks in Navadweep. And they came into a forest and Lord Caitanya saw a parrot perched on a Bakula Tree. And Lord Caitanya grabbed the parrot. He said, “You are the son of Vedavyas, Shukadeva Goswami. And I am in meditation on the beautiful forest of Vrindavan. Please Sukadeva, sing the glories and the names of Radha and Krishna.” And the parrot, in great love began to call out, “Gaur Hari” and Lord Caitanya became very angry. And he threw the parrot away. And the parrot got on the Bakula tree and started calling out “Gaura Gaura, Gaura Gaura, Gaura Gaura” and as he was chanting Gaura Gaura he was dancing in ecstasy. So, Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu became externally very disturbed when this parrot was just dancing on the tree chanting “Gaura, Gaura.” This is the place of Radha and Krishna. Please chant the glories of Radha and Krishna. And the little parrot replied that “Vrindavan has transformed into Navadweep and Radha and Krishna has appeared in the form of Gauranga. And I am just a simply parrot. And I am simply so happy to see my worship able Lord, Sri Krishna standing before me in the form of Gauranga Mahaprabhu. and my beloved Srimati Radharani standing before me as Sri Gadadhar Pandit.” And then the parrot flew away chanting the Holy Names of the Lord.
