Bhagavad Gita is teaching us how we could always remain disentangled from the unlimited illusions and intricacies of material bondage, if we keep our mind fixed on this goal. Bhakti Vinod Thakur says in that prasadam prayer that the senses are a network of paths leading to death. The word ‘network’ is very interesting. What is the work of a net? That is network. The work of a net is to trap you. And nets are designed in such a way that the victim does not see it until it is trapped. It is like you see at beach, the fishermen how they fish with these nets? They just throw the nets in the ocean and they just let them sit there and the stupid fish they just swim right into the net.
