kamala dala jala jivana tala mala. Govinda Das has taught us this eternal principle which is really at the core of all true religion that everything that we identify with and possess in this world, our body, our fame, our accomplishments, our family members, our loved ones, friends, our property, everything, their nature is like a drop of water on a leaf of a lotus flower. At any moment, that drop will slip away, padaṁ padaṁ yad vipadāṁ na teṣām, there is danger at every step. Whatever solutions we make to the temporary problems of this world, it is our duty to try our best to do that. It is our duty while we're having this human experience, to harmonize that human experience with loving devotional service to the Supreme Lord.
