Description

The cow and the bull represent the Vedic culture not only symbolically but practically. The bull is tilling the fields and making grains possible, besides being the very symbol of dharma and the cow is giving ghee and milk and so many products, to help us worship the lord and be healthy and happy. The cow is our mother, the bull is our father. To disrespect the cow or the bull is to disrespect our own mother and father. Another words, if we are seeing the cow or bull as our mother and father that means we respecting them in the superior position than ourselves. This is very serious. Your mother and father is at a superior position to your self, as far as etiquette. Never dishonor or disrespect your mother or father, it’s sinful. You can do what you have to do but do it with etiquette. Now if the cow and the bull is our mother and father that means we see them in the superior position. That is how we make spiritual progress.
