Description

We know that God is there and is coming for us. The minor profits tend to point out a lot of our sins, but keep reading till the end to receive God's promise. The profits always end with a promise, as is true with Hoses 11.

What is Promise? 1) Romans 4:13-14 - A Promise is realized through belief and comes through the righteousness of faith. The whole nation of Israel was blessed through Abraham's belief. Promises do not come to us by obeying, but by believing. It maybe easier to obey then to believe. 2) Romans 4:16 - A Promise is an act of grace. Only He can bring about His promise. Grace is when we come to the realization that the more we work, the farther we are removed from the Promise. Only He can make it happen. 3) Romans 4:17-18. A Promise brings hope against hope. Promise requires death -- there is no way this can happen, but God's Promise will come to past.

John 2-12; Jesus has changes the narrative. Human hope is "works", but God's Promise is without works. John lays out seven signs that Jesus performs through his miracles. The first miracle was to change water into wine; the last sign was the rising from the dead. This is in contrast to Moses 7 plagues or signs. But Jesus changed the narrative to bring blessing life, promise, freedom, and hope.
