Description

Rom: 12:1-2: Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Fatherhood is transformational. It is easier to become a father than to be a father. We don't understand that fatherhood perfects men. Fathers are a key element in their children's life just by being there. The end product is both the perfecting and maturing of both the father and the child--Life changes. Fatherhood is far more than personal experiences. It is understanding God Himself through a transformed heart, life and mind. God became a man, died on the cross so that we could identify with Him. Mercies received from God are unearned.

2 Cor. 5:17: Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Col 1:10: So that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; We are the refreshment to our children base on what we drink; daring from the fruits of God. Pleasures will conform us either to God's way or the world's. Example of adversity - boiled potatoes, eggs, and coffee: hard becomes do it; soft becomes hard, and the coffee becomes a sweat smelling aroma. Which one are you?
