We all know people that need to be saved. To work toward that goal, there are four things we can think about:
1) You should have a burden on our hearts for individuals. Romans 10:1 "Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved." Normally prayers only get prayed for someone only when we remember. When you have a burden from God you will constantly be praying for someone He directs you to pray for.
2) Pray for an opportunity to approached your Colossians 4:3-4 "...meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ..."
3) Ephesuabs 1 17-18 Pray for God to prepare hearts: "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints..."
4) 2 Thessalonians 3:1 pray that the Word that they hear will generate a groundswell.

Micky Mantle was the consummate athlete, but he had a fear of death that drove him to alcoholism; he was crude and unresponsive to family and friends. He didn't feel that he mattered. A NY Yankee team mate, Bobby Richardson, was a believer and wanted all his team mates to come to the lord. Bobby asked a preacher to give a message to the 1964 Yankee's, Billy Deyoli was the preacher. The Bible said the problem is sin; we are separated from God because of sin; But Jesus is the answer. God put a burden on Bobby's heart to invited Micky to the Lord. Twenty years latter, Micky called Bobby for prayer and received Christ as his savior. Bobby took the opportunity to plant a seed that didn't sprout till years latter. God considers Bobby Richardson the Yankee super hero. Who is your friend? Who do you have a burden for?
