Vers. 6: They were righteous before God, always praying, walking in His ways. But most of the time we don't know what to do, so we should always be asking for wisdom. We will continue to serve.
God's Yes:
The Promise: Correlations between Abraham & Sara to Zachariah & Elizabeth. A shift in history has occurred. God is doing something wonderful. In the birth of Jesus God is doing a new thing. Something wonderful is about to happen, He will take away my reproach for a new life.
Luke's' History is reviewed in three parts: 1. The law and the Profits, 2. The time of Jesus; 3. The church age. Started with John the Baptist and ends with Jesus. After Jesus' assentation, the spirit of Jesus is poured out. God changed history of the law and prophets.
