And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.
Make space in my life for other people; leave a margins. Change our hearts so that we minister to others over ourselves.
Certainty: There is a certainty to the promise; starts out with "We know". I know God is faithful.
Completeness: All things will work together for good, even the bad things in our lives.
Cause: We know that God works all things together; God is the cause.
Condition: Our response to God's is from "For them that love God." John 14:23 If anyone loves me, he will keep my words. To obey is to love God. 1 John 4:21. If anyone says he loves God but hates his brother, is a liar. The must make margin in their life for others.
Consequence: Purpose is to them who are called to his purpose to be conformed to the image of His Son. He will make us look like Jesus.
The verse states that everything that hapensto us is to make us like Jesus; that is the "good". This explains why our prayer life stinks. Prayer is not about us, it's all about Him. Lord, how is my pain going to benefit You? How will I conform to be more like Jesus? This is the source of our blessing and happyness.
