Description

For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, pans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Jer. 29:11
Most misused scripture in the Bible. It's actually way better than what we think.

A collective Hope: Addressed to the Israelites who where exiled to Babylon; it is not singular, but plural.
His Timing: Jer. 29:4-11; Seventy years in the future, most people will be dead when promise is fulfilled. I is an anchor for their hope; in the end Our God will do all things for our good.
Seeing what I want to see: Hananiah was a false profit: "Don't worry, in two years God will fix the problem." Jer. 28:1-4. We will live under the consequences of our actions. Hananiah dropped dead.
A Light at the End of the Tunnel: Even under the weight of the full consequences of our actions, He will still provide. God said You owe me 70 years of Sabbath.
With all My Heart: Jer. 29:12-14; Seek first the Kingdom of God.

God's YES: He has a plan for us, and will provide the way out.
Our AMEN: Seeking Him and be willing to live under His timing; resisting what urge to follow my will.
