"For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:2. Freedom from Judgment. We have condemnation: Upward towards God; Inward, or self condemnation; and Outward, or from other people. John 3:16: "God did not send his Son to condemn the world..." we are currently being judge, or being saved --a continuous process.
Upward Judgement (Matt. 7:1; 6:14-15) How we can free our self. We should live within the sphere of life not judgment. If we forgive others, our Father will forgive us. God is the only being capable to judge us. We are judged by Him by the scale of mercy or by the scale of judgment. Our life determines which scale we are being judged by. Chose the mercy scale. The heart that receives God's mercy will show mercy to other.
Inward Judgement (Matt. 7:2-5) The measure in which you measure, it will be measured unto you. Don't judge or God is going to judge you. The way we treat other people will determined how we see ourselves. Standard measurement for judgment. If you struggle with condemnation, work on showing mercy to others.
Outward Judgement (Matt 7:6) Do not give to dogs and pigs that which is holy. People will always find things to judge you about. We all have dogs and pigs around us that constantly judge us. Are we someone who judges people around us? The way to gain freedom from other's judge of us is to use discernment, "Is this a safe person, or a dog or pig?" Stop judging others and holding them to a standard that no one can meet.
