1 Kings 15:1-3 Mothers have the ability to change a nation. The early princes of Israel were taken from their mother to be raised "special up as rulers. In Kings, in the introduction of a rule the mother's name is not mentioned. Not so for Judea the mother's name is mentioned. Rulers from Jude were raised by their mothers. By this contrasts of the two nations, we see the influence Mothers have over a nation.
In the kingdom, void of mothers' rearing influence, most rulers were listed as not being pleasing to the Lord. In contrast, most rulers raised in Judea were good or even fair, with few who did evil in the sight of the Lord. The old testament provides a very strong argument for the positive value mothers have on society.
